Before every Ohio State football game, the LGHL Tailgate podcast will get you ready with all of the information that you need for that day’s game. Legendary Columbus sports reporter Lori Schmidt from 610 WTVN will also join us to give her signature insight into the contest.
This afternoon, the top ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will put their undefeated 11-0 record on the line as they travel to the state up north to play their rivals who are No. 13 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
The Buckeyes enter the game s healthy as they have been all season, at least on paper, as the only player on the two-deep that appeared on this week’s availability report is junior cornerback Shaun Wade, who is listed as a game-time decision.
Almost none of the contributors who have been banged up recently appear on the list, including Jonathon Cooper, Baron Browning, Austin Mack, Joshua Alabi, and others. It is not yet known if Cooper will play in the game, as he only has one game available to play this season, as he has already announced that he will redshirt in order to return in 2020.
Despite injury concerns to both his left, non-throwing hand and his lower leg, Justin Fields is not listed on the report, and is expected to be ready to go.
