Outside the Shoe podcast: Discussing Ohio State women’s basketball’s premier matchups

With a win over Louisville under their belts, the Buckeyes are turning their attention to top-ranked Stanford

On LGHL’s Outside the Shoe podcast, we talk all things Ohio State athletics that happen outside the confines of the Horseshoe.

In today’s episode, Meredith talks through women’s basketball’s shocking win over No. 2 Louisville in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge last week. But Kevin McGuff’s team isn’t out of the woods just yet, as the Buckeyes’ upcoming matchup on the road at No. 1 Stanford. She also talks about the resilience of the young squad -- especially given the players’ ability to come back from a heartbreaking loss to No. 4 UConn just days before their win over the Cardinals.

This young Ohio State squad is certainly building momentum as it makes its way through the non-conference season. It’ll need to be on top of its game Sunday against the No. 1 team in the nation.
