Coming into Sunday’s final College Football Playoff rankings reveal show on ESPN the teams that would comprise the top four weren’t really in doubt. The suspense completely surrounded the order of seeding.

After spirited debates on Twitter into the wee hours of the morning, the committee put us all out of our misery and announced that Ohio State had been moved down a slot to the No. 2 team in the country, so they will face the No. 3 Clemson Tigers on Saturday, Dec. 28 in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz. The LSU Tigers claimed the No. 1 seed and will face the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners in Atlanta at the Peach Bowl.
