On this inaugural edition of the State Secrets recruiting edition of the Land-Grant Holy Land podcast, one of our recruiting experts, Patrick Mayhorn, tries to educate our resident “old,” Matt Tamanini, about all things Ohio State Buckeyes recruiting.
This week, they talk about the football program’s upcoming Student Appreciation Weekend, which is designed to create bonds between the team and current OSU students, but has turned into one of the biggest events of the spring for Ryan Day and company to show off the program to recruits and their families.
In addition, Patrick tells Matt about a 7-foot center who is preparing to announce his college basketball commitment this month. Though Ibrahima Diallo is still a raw player, he would be a huge (no pun intended) commitment to Ohio State’s 2019 class.
We have all that and more, so check out the show notes and episode below.
On this episode:
1) Massive recruiting weekend coming up
2) 2019 7-foot center Ibrahima Diallo
3) Crystal Ball and/or Commit Watch
