Outside the Shoe is a podcast that focuses on Ohio State sports that aren’t football or men’s basketball. Each week, a few sports will be recapped, previewed, and discussed.
This week on Outside the Shoe, we’ll look into the weekend series for Ohio State baseball and softball. Both Buckeye teams host Michigan, with both playing doubleheaders on Saturday. So far this season, the Wolverines have done well—and are leading the way in the Big Ten. However, life is never is easy when traveling to Columbus.
Finally, Geoff Hammersley is joined by Land-Grant Holy Land’s lacrosse expert Meredith Hein to talk men’s lacrosse. The Buckeyes are riding a two-game losing streak, and will have to go on the road to face No. 15 Johns Hopkins. It’s a big game for both Big Ten programs, as the Blue Jays are 2-0 to start conference play, while the Bucks are 0-2. We’ll go over key players to watch, and how important this game is for either side as the lacrosse season heats up.
