Did the Meyer era live up to your expectations?

Matt Tamanini Matt Tamanini is the co-managing editor of Land-Grant Holy Land having joined the site in 2016.

On Land-Grant Holy Land In Conversation, we talk to people in and around Ohio State athletics, and the sporting world at large, to bring you a different insight and perspective to the teams, athletes, and university that you love.

Today we talk an LGHL legend, SBNation’s Associate Director of College Brands, Matt Brown. As summer approaches and attention turns to fall, there will be plenty of time to break down the first season of Ohio State’s Ryan Day era, but before we do that, we wanted to attempt to put a bow on Urban Meyer’s tenure in Columbus. The legendary coach was obviously wildly successful on the field, but his final season in scarlet and gray has created (or exacerbated) some negative feelings about him outside of Buckeye Nation.

Matt Brown and Host Matt Tamanini talk about whether Meyer’s tenure lived up to expectations, what his greatest legacy will be with the Buckeyes, and whether or not Day can continue the success of his predecessor.
