Also, we’ll recap the Buckeyes softball season.

Geoff Hammersley

Outside the Shoe is a podcast that focuses on Ohio State sports that aren’t football or men’s basketball.

In this episode of Outside the Shoe, Meredith Hein and Geoff Hammersley discuss Ohio State baseball and softball.

For the softball team, their season ended last week in the NCAA Softball Tournament, losing to Tennessee and North Carolina. However, there were a lot of good things the Bucks showed this season.

Ohio State baseball is in action on Wednesday, battling Michigan to open Big Ten Tournament play. OSU had a big series sweep of Purdue last weekend that helped propel them into the tournament, and now, they face the No. 2-seeded Wolverines. We’ll preview what the Buckeyes must do in order to topple U-M again this season.
