Outside the Shoe is a podcast that focuses on Ohio State sports that aren’t football or men’s basketball.

This week on a mini-episode of Outside the Shoe, Geoff Hammersley and Meredith Hein review the Ohio State men’s lacrosse regular season. We discuss what went wrong in the season finale at Michigan, and where the Buckeyes go from here after wrapping up their 12-game regular season slate with an 8-4 record.

The loss at Michigan stifled any chance for OSU to make the Big Ten Tournament, which featured the quartet of Penn State, Maryland, Johns Hopkins and...Rutgers. (Penn State and Johns Hopkins meet in the conference title game Saturday night). While an NCAA Championship bid is not impossible, the odds are very slim for OSU.
