A new era of democracy for college football fans has dawned. No longer will fans be subjected to the whims of uninterested coaches and their ill-informed SIDs when it comes to polling. No longer will fans be insulted by the predetermined narrative of journalists who don’t have time to watch every college football game in order to submit well-educated rankings.
For today, Land-Grant Holy Land and SB Nation proudly introduce the first-ever FanPulse Top 25; the college football rankings of the people, by the people, for the people. Every week during the college football season, we will bring you not only the national Top 25 FanPulse poll, but also the top 25 teams as voted on by members of the LGHL FanPulse community; this is our poll.

So, if you think that M*ch*g*n is ranked way too high, get a group of your friends together and vote those rodents out of the Top 25. It’s that easy! Also every week, we will be asking specific questions to gauge Buckeye Nation’s feelings about how Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are handling the trials and tribulations of the season.
Since elected officials rarely listen to us, make sure that your voice is heard on some of the most important issues of the day, the Ohio State Buckeyes and college football!

The Buckeyes come in fifth in the preseason national rankings, the highest-rated of eight Big Ten teams; and most importantly, a spot above TTUN. The SEC was two spots behind the B1G with six members of the preseason rankings.
Every single fan base amongst the 66 included picked the defending national champion Clemson Tigers as the top team to start the season; every single fan base except for the homers over at Roll Bama Roll.

Unlike our brethren across the country, Buckeye fans are not as nervous about the prospects of OSU heading into the 2019 season led by a coach who has never run his own program before and a quarterback who has never started a collegiate game. Instead, we ranked our Buckeyes third, behind only Clemson and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
One concerning stat about the LGHL rankings is that they don’t include the Cincinnati Bearcats. With Luke Fickell’s team waiting for OSU in the second week of the season, I would caution Buckeye fans to not get overly confident about the game against the Buckeyes’ in-state little brothers.
