Outside the Shoe is a podcast that focuses on Ohio State sports that aren’t football or men’s basketball.

With the 2018 season now in the rearview mirror, the Ohio State field hockey squad is looking to improve from their 12-8 (5-5 conference) mark. Preseason is still happening for field hockey, but the regular season is just around the corner—in fact, the season starts on Aug. 30 for OSU.

Meredith Hein and Geoff Hammersley preview the field hockey team, taking a quick look back at 2018 before moving onto this season.
