Throughout the season, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conference, but also from individual breakout sessions.
On today’s episode we have audio from the first game week press conferences of the 2019 season, as this Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Florida Atlantic Owls in Ohio Stadium at 12 noon ET.
These took place on Tuesday, August 27th and you will hear first from head coach Ryan Day, then co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Jeff Hafley, and finally offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Kevin Wilson.
In his portion, Day revealed who will be starting at right tackle, and discussed the game plan for how much Justin Fields would play given the lack of an established backup, and the biggest question, what happened to his beard.
Then Hafley talks all things defense, but won’t reveal the starting linebackers just yet, and finally Wilson discusses about how much the tight ends could figure into the offense this year.
