Carmen’s Crew wins 2019’s The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament

On Tuesday night, the team of mostly former Ohio State Buckeyes basketball players, Carmen’s Crew, knocked off the Marquette alums of the Golden Eagles to win the 2019 The Basketball Tournament championship.

The thrilling, physical game saw William Buford hit a pair of free throws to get the former Buckeyes to the 66-point, Elam Ending threshold, giving them the victory. For his efforts throughout the tourney, Buford was named the TBT MVP, and he was joined by Aaron Craft on the all-tournament team.

While the game was a ton of fun, the celebrations and festivities continued long after the ESPN TV cameras stopped rolling. Check out all of the highlights from the celebrations, press conference, and more.
