It won’t necessarily be all hands on deck for the No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes as they travel for their first primetime game of the 2019 season this Saturday in Lincoln, Neb., but the Buckeyes will be getting their senior captain, defensive end Jonathon Cooper back for the first time this season as they take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

After being out for the first four games of the year, Cooper is listed as the co-starter at end opposite Chase Young. Tyler Friday gets the “OR” designation along side Cooper, who very well could be on a bit of a pitch count for the game. Cooper has been out dealing with a minor procedure to deal with a leg injury, believed to be a high ankle sprain.

Also rejoining the OSU defensive line this week after missing the bludgeoning that was the Miami (OH) game is senior nosetackle Robert Landers.

However, it wasn’t all returns when Ryan Day released this week’s depth chart and availability report. Missing the night game will be Kamryn Babb, Noah Donald, Ronnie Hickman, Teradja Mitchell, Brett Novick, captain C.J. Saunders, Tyreke Smith, and Taron Vincent.

The one game-time decision for the week is right tackle Branden Bowen. On the depth chart, he is listed as the co-starter with Nicholas Petit-Frere.

The Buckeyes will look to remain perfect on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
