Throughout the season, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conference, but also from individual breakout sessions.

On today’s episode we hear from Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann from Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Ohio State’s media day. The third-year head coach provides some injury updates on players who weren’t able to start practicing on schedule this week, while also talking about Kaleb Wesson’s dramatic weight loss, college basketball’s new three-point line, and managing pre-season expectations.

The head coach also discussed his highly rated recruiting class featuring D.J. Carton, E.J. Liddell, Alonzo Gaffney, and Ibrahima Diallo. The Buckeye team started practice on Thursday, Sept. 26, and will play their exhibition game against Cedarville on Oct. 30, and then will open the regular season a week later on Nov. 6 as the Cincinnati Bearcats visit the Schottenstein Center.
