Following their season-opening win against the Florida Atlantic Owls, Ryan Days’ Ohio State Buckeyes remained at fifth in the second AP Poll of the 2019 college football season. The Clemson Tigers stayed atop the rankings, with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, and Oklahoma Sooners sitting atop the Buckeyes.
The only changes in the top 10 were Florida moving from No. 8 to No. 11, allowing Notre Dame (No. 8), Texas (No. 9), and Auburn No. 10) to move up.
The other Big Ten teams in the rankings are No. 7 Michigan, No. 15 Penn State, No. 17 Wisconsin, No. 19 Michigan State, No. 20 Iowa, and No. 25 Nebraska. The Buckeyes’ Week 2 opponent, the Cincinnati Bearcats were not ranked, but did receive votes.
