Throughout the season, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conference, but also from individual breakout sessions.
On today’s episode we have interviews from the six newest additions to the Ohio State Athletic Hall of Fame. Last Friday night the Hall welcomed former OSU men’s basketball coach Thad Matta, former linebacker A.J. Hawk, former kicker Mike Nugent, former Women’s basketball coach Jim Foster, former Men’s Hockey player R.J. Umberger, and former women’s hockey player Natalie Spooner.
The six inductees talked to reporters about how they reacted to learning about the honor, what they have been doing since they left Ohio State an/or retired, and how much the university means to them.
Also joining the class was Boyd Cherry (football), Justin Fry (baseball), Stan Lyons (men’s track and field), and Andrew Pierce (men’s track and field).
