Outside the Shoe podcast: Looking ahead to men’s tennis

On LGHL’s Outside the Shoe podcast, we talk all things Ohio State athletics that happen outside the confines of the Horseshoe.

On the show today, Meredith talks about Ohio State tennis and this weekend’s ITA Kickoff for both the men’s and women’s squads. The men are defending national indoor champs, while the women made it through from their regional in 2019 before ultimately falling to Duke.

The podcast also previews the men’s tennis season up ahead. That’s because beyond the ITA Indoor Championships lay the true goal for the Buckeyes: an NCAA Tournament title. Under the leadership of head coach Ty Tucker, the Ohio State men’s tennis team has won the Big Ten regular season title every year since 2006, and is looking to not only repeat this year, but bring home a national title for the first time in program history.
