Hangout in the Holy Land is back to give you their breakdown of all things Buckeyes. The hosts are new, the football season is new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join George Eisner and myself all year long as we break down Ohio State’s opponents and recap the Buckeyes’ performance each weekend.

Since doing our recap shortly after the game on Saturday, George and I have both had a chance to rewatch all of the film from the Nebraska game. We open today’s episode by talking about some things we noticed upon a second viewing that we maybe didn’t realize the first time around, including some of the offensive line play and defensive formations, and both of us came away much more confident in Ohio State moving forward.
We then shift our focus to Penn State. Even with their loss to Indiana, the Nittany Lions are likely one of the best teams the Buckeyes will play this season. We break down some of the matchups we are looking forward to this Saturday, talking about some of the potential challenges guys like Sean Clifford and Pat Freiermuth present, as well as areas of James Franklin’s team that Ohio State will be able to take advantage of.
We will be back on Sunday following the game. We hope you will tweet us @HolyLandPod with your postgame questions and hot takes, as we will try to read as many of them as possible on the show.
Looking forward to hearing feedback from you guys. As always, if you like what we’re doing, be sure to subscribe and drop a review on Apple Podcasts. We’ll see ya after the game!
