Podcast: Chris Holtmann, Kevin McGuff preview Ohio State basketball seasons

On today’s episode, we hear from both the Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann and the Ohio State women’s basketball coach Kevin McGuff. The two coaches virtually met with the media on Monday, Nov. 23.

The men’s basketball team will open up their season against the Illinois State Redbirds on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. ET in a game that will be broadcast on ESPN.

The women’s team was supposed to tip off with Akron at 6 p.m., but after the Zips “shared results of [their] most recent testing,” the decision was made to not play the game. This announcement came after McGuff had already spoken to the media.

Both coaches discuss preparing for this most unusual of seasons, what their expectations are for the year, and much more.
