Hangout in the Holy Land is back to give you their breakdown of all things Buckeyes. The hosts are new, the football season is new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join George Eisner and myself all year long as we break down Ohio State’s opponents and recap the Buckeyes’ performance each weekend.

Since dropping the recap pod on Sunday after the Penn State game, George and I have had a chance to rewatch the film from the bout with the Nittany Lions. We open today’s episode discussing some of the things we caught upon a second viewing of Saturday’s big game, including the guys who really stepped up but maybe got lost in the shuffle a bit and some other key notes from Ohio State’s second game of the year.

We then shift our focus to Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights aren’t exactly a team that is going to challenge the Buckeyes in many ways, but they are definitely better than the usual conference pushover they have been since joining the Big Ten. We break down some of the key areas in which Ohio State will have to execute against Rutgers, as well as fill you in on some names you should know on the Scarlet Knights’ roster heading into the game.

We will be back on Sunday following the game. We hope you will tweet us @HolyLandPod with your postgame questions and hot takes, as we will try to read as many of them as possible on the show.

Looking forward to hearing feedback from you guys. As always, if you like what we’re doing, be sure to subscribe and drop a review on Apple Podcasts. We’ll see ya after the game!
