Hangout in the Holy Land is back to give you their breakdown of all things Buckeyes. The hosts are new, the football season is new, but the sarcasm hasn’t changed a bit. Join George Eisner and myself all year long as we break down Ohio State’s opponents and recap the Buckeyes’ performance each weekend.

The universe does not want us to have a consistent podcast schedule, but we are back once again with another episode of Hangout in the Holy Land. Ohio State’s game against Michigan was cancelled this past week as a result of COVID-19 cases within the Wolverines program, but the Big Ten has changed the six-game minimum rule and has allowed the Buckeyes to take part in the conference championship game — as they rightfully should have.

On today’s episode, George and I break down the current state of the OSU-TTUN rivalry, as well as our feelings surrounding the cancellation of this year’s edition of The Game. We then break down Northwestern, a team that the Buckeyes dominated a year ago but is much improved since that meeting. The Wildcats feature a stellar defense on paper, but is just a product of their schedule? Can Pat Fitzgerald’s squad actually hang around with Justin Fields and the explosive Ohio State offense?

We will be back on Sunday following the game. We hope you will tweet us @HolyLandPod with your postgame questions and hot takes, and we will try to read as many of them as possible on the show.

Looking forward to hearing feedback from you guys. As always, if you like what we’re doing, be sure to subscribe and drop a review on Apple Podcasts. We’ll see ya after the game!
