Three-star tight end talks recent offer
Just weeks removed from signing a solid class of 2020 recruits, the new-look Ohio State football staff have been hitting the trail hard trying to make sure the future stays bright by dishing out offers to some of the top rated class of 2021 and 2022 prospects.
On the hunt to add another 2021 tight end to bring into the fold alongside current commit Sam Hart, the Buckeyes recently offered three-star South Mecklenburg (NC) standout Bryson Nesbit.
“Coach Wilson and I have been talking for a while. He wanted me to know that this was a committable offer, and he wanted it to be a genuine one.” The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder stated to Land-Grant Holy Land on his chance to suit up in the Scarlet and Gray.
Putting together a rather lengthy list of potential college landing spots, Nesbit adds the Ohio State offer alongside the likes of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, and Virginia Tech. While he holds many opportunities to chase his NFL dreams, his offer from Ohio State isn’t something he’s taking with a grain of salt.
Before he jumps to any type of commitment plans, the staff and Nesbit have a few things they want to get done.
“Coach wants me to get on campus to see the school, and also talk to players so I can make my decision.”
When it comes to rankings, Nesbit could see his value skyrocket in the near future. At the moment, he’s pegged as the No. 20 tight end, and 498th overall prospect in the class of 2021, per the latest 247Sports Composite.
