On LGHL’s podcast Play Like a Girl, Tia and Meredith talk everything from Ohio State football to all the happenings in the sports world today.

Happy one year anniversary (a little late because we totally forgot about it whoops) to Play Like a Girl! Recording this weekly podcast has been an absolute blast for us, and we can’t thank you — our loyal reader/listener— enough for sticking around to hear us talk about issues and milestones for women in sports, trending news in the sports world and, of course, Ohio State football. We can’t wait to see what the next twelve months will bring for our show!

To celebrate the show’s anniversary, we begin this week’s episode (which happens to be our longest episode ever) reminiscing about some of our favorite episodes and topics we’ve covered thus far, such as:

We then spend about five minutes defending ESPN’s Katie Nolan and Maria Taylor because two (washed up) sports reporters had the audacity to publicly disrespect them recently. Not on our watch!!!

Then, we get into real! live! Ohio! State! football!, including their schedule, the meaning of Shaun Wade and Wyatt Davis’ return, and the current state of college football. Can the Big Ten make it through a whole season without a Houston-like catastrophe?

To end the show, we recap the Buckeyes in the NFL (Week 1 compared to the horror that was Week 2), and Meredith’s expectations for her Browns.

Oh, and here are the articles that we “virtually gifted” each other:

The Finland airport dogs who can detect COVID-19

The guy who tried to write his name in an MLB stadium but “the tractor moved too slow”

Stuff you forgot from your childhood (if you’re a millennial)
