On today’s episode of “Buck Off with Christopher Renne,” I am joined, as always, by Jordan Williams to discuss our feelings about the first half of the Buckeyes’ season.

We start the show getting into some conversations about our biggest takeaways from the first half, including the defense, the offense, and the national landscape. We then discuss how this might effect the second half of the season and what to expect from the Buckeyes as they dive into the Big Ten East gauntlet.

Moving forward, we then get into our midseason player awards and discuss how these players have impacted the team in ways that have earned our accolades. The awards include MVP, Biggest Surprise, and a few others. This leads to some conversations about some other players that were considered as well, so more than a few names made the honorable mentions.

To continue on, we get into our positional grades, which was harder than it looked and as we take on the role of professor — we just want all our students to succeed. We agreed on some, we disagreed on many, but it was mostly because we had different grading scales.

We close out the show with our keys to a successful second half for Ohio State, and what we’re going to be doing in this weekend off.
