Gene is off at a New York Giants game (for some reason), so Josh welcomes in long-time LGHL stalwart Meredith Hein to break down Ohio State’s 54-7 rainy victory in Bloomington over the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday night. They talk about how dominant the Buckeye defense looked against a beaten up IU offense and whether or not you can take much away from the defensive effort given the sub-par level of opponent.
On offense, they talk about the growth and development of C.J. Stroud, his Heisman chances, and all of the ridiculous weapons that Ohio State has on that side of the ball. They also get into the hilarious Penn State and Illinois 9 OT game on Saturday and what it means for next week’s night game.
Hangout in the Holy Land is dropping two episodes per week, with a preview episode breaking down each of Ohio State’s opponents and a postgame reactions episode following the game each weekend. Be sure to download and listen in wherever you get your podcasts, and leave us a review on Apple to let us know your thoughts and how we can make things even better!
