In this episode of the Land Grant Holy Land instant recap podcast Chris and Jordan discuss this ugly win from the Buckeyes. Very few positives but Ohio State survives and keeps their Big Ten championship and subsequently their playoff hopes alive.
In a night when the offense really struggled, especially in the end zone, the defense game up big with a defensive touchdown and a crucial interception. A win is a win but Day and the Buckeyes will have to figure out their red zone offense. Penn States defense refused to break holding Ohio State to one touchdown, four field goals and a turnover on downs in six red zone trips.
It wasn’t pretty, it was downright ugly and very very stressful but the Buckeyes won a tough game. Time to get back into the film room and prepare for a tough stretch that includes an upset minded Purdue, a tough Michigan team and undefeated Michigan State.
