On today’s episode, I talk to one of the very best Land-Grant Holy Land alums, Patrick Mayhorn who was recently named the associate editor of the Buckeye Sports Bulletin. Even though it’s getting close to two years since we have done a podcast together, Patrick and I break down where the Ohio State roster stands following the the end of spring practices. We also talk what position groups Patrick is most concerned about, which players he expects to break through, and who he thinks will (and should be) QB1 and RB1 this season for the Buckeyes.

In talking about his newsletter (Outside Zone) and his non-BSB podcast (Flipping the Field) Patrick talks about the emotional joys of watching G5 football, Cincinnati’s chance at the College Football Playoffs, and what his ideal playoff expansion scenario would look like — it is one that is a bit different than mine.

So, check out the episode above, follow Patrick on all of his places on the internet below, and relive some of LGHL’s past glory by welcoming back an old friend.
