Look, we get it. Your days are busy and you don’t have time to read all of the stories and tweets from the three dozen websites dedicated to covering Ohio State athletics, or the 237 Buckeye beat writers churning out hot takes and #content on a daily basis. But that’s ok, that’s what your friends at Land-Grant Holy Land are here for.
Monday through Friday, we’ll be collecting all of the articles, tweets, features, interviews, videos, podcasts, memes, photos, and whatever else we stumble across on the interwebz and putting them in our daily “Why is this News?” article. That way, you’ll have a one-stop-shop for all of the most important Buckeye news, jokes, and analysis.
You’re welcome!

Too Soon?
It is already time to look ahead to the 2022 draft.
Garrett Wilson, Zach Harrison, Chris Olave, and Sevyn Banks highlight some way-too-early 2022 mock drafts. https://t.co/oiWnJbmXY6

Speaking of which, Gene and Josh did a little of that on Monday.
Ohio State didn’t have a first-round DE this year, but hopefully that will change with some prime candidates to breakout this upcoming season.
For the first time in five years, Ohio State did not have a defensive end or cornerback taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. Why regaining that identity in 2021 will be crucial: https://t.co/xyRoaa628u pic.twitter.com/2TeJo8YKWJ

Sticking with this draft, Megan did some further analysis of the 2021 NFL Draft as well.
As did Matt.
As did Brett and Meredith.
One of those aforementioned late-round draft picks, Coop is out here working with the

Speaking of brick walls, Justin Fields looks like he could take one down with his bare hands. The man is coming for his respect this season.

Keep an eye out for this week’s episode of Hangout in the Holy Land, where we discuss the impact of Jameson Williams’ transfer to Alabama. Ward has you covered in the written variety.

Now that you mention the return of Hangout in the Holy Land...
Pssst... we're back

(See ya Wednesday)
Malik Hooker had one of the most electric seasons I've ever seen from an Ohio State defensive back — and that is saying a lot. It’s a shame his NFL career has gotten off to a rocky start with injuries, but hopefully he can stay healthy and make an impact moving forward.
Former #Colts first-round safety Malik Hooker is visiting the #Dolphins today, source said. A possible post-Draft addition.

Ohio State doing Ohio State things off the football field
I hear that wrestling team is pretty decent.
Ohio State's Dylan D'Emilio was named to the 2021 All-Rookie Team by Amateur Wrestling News. The redshirt freshman was the only rookie at 141 to win a bout at the NCAA Tournament. https://t.co/r9mOkEf49w

This seems pretty good as well.
Cannon Kingsley and John McNally selected for NCAA Singles Championship later this month.
