BOOOM! Three-star corner Ryan Turner commits to Ohio State

The Buckeyes are once again dipping their toes in that Florida water.

2022 CB Ryan Turner

Did you hear that BOOOOOOOOM? For the second time in four days, the Ohio State Buckeyes have picked up a commitment from a ridiculously talented defensive back. This time it is three-star cornerback prospect Ryan Turner out of Hollywood, Fla. Turner joins his fellow Florida native Kye Stokes in the class, after the latter committed on Sunday.

Like Stokes, Turner hasn’t yet gotten the recruiting service love that other players have, but that hasn’t stopped the offers from pouring in. Turner picked the Buckeyes over Clemson in yet another tough race between the two inter-conference rivals. He also held offers from Penn State, Jeff Hafley at Boston College, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Oregon, Texas A&M, and nearly two dozen more top-notch schools across the country.

A legit track athlete as well, Kerry Coombs and Matt Barnes led Turner’s recruitment, and he plans on making his official visit to Columbus on June 11. He joins Jaheim Singletary, Jyaire Brown, and Stokes as OSU’s 2022 defensive back commits. At 6-foot, 180 pounds, the Chamindae Madonna junior will be joining a long line of great OSU cornerbacks. Welcome to #BIA, Ryan.
