Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. During the offseason the Bucketheads will release an episode once every two weeks, with the structure shifting to weekly as we get closer to college basketball season.

On today’s episode, Connor and Justin discuss Duane Washington Jr. and E.J. Liddell’s performances at the NBA G-League Elite Camp, as well as Duane’s last-second NBA Combine invitation. Are we suddenly looking at a situation where half of Ohio State’s dynamic duo could be packing their bags and leaving Columbus for good? They also talk about how much Buckeye fans should temper their expectations should one — or both — move on.

They also break down the ongoing saga happening up in Madison, Wisconsin, as a recording of a private meeting between Badgers’ head coach Greg Gard and his seven senior players was recently leaked to Wisconsin State Journal. During the meeting, the senior players lashed out at their head coach, at one point telling him that they competed hard on the court not to win games, but to “Prove you (Gard) wrong.” We’re not totally sure what’s happening with the Wisconsin program right now, but I’ll be sure to make some popcorn while I watch it all unfold.

Finally, the fellas quickly run through the 2021 TBT bracket and point out a few teams that catch their eye as possible sleepers in this year’s tournament.

Bucketheads will be dropping every other Tuesday throughout the offseason (although it’s going on Wednesday this week), and will shift to a weekly podcast when we get closer to the college basketball season.
