While spending times with family and friends over the holiday weekend you might’ve missed out on some the latest recruiting news surrounding your Ohio State Buckeyes. Don’t worry! Land-Grant Holy Land is here to help get you caught back up with things.

Buckeyes add Tuimoloau

After already adding a long list of top rated talent during the 2021 recruiting cycle Ryan Day, Larry Johnson and the rest of the Ohio State football coaching staff got their cherry on top over the weekend. Finally announcing his college commitment, five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau is now the 22nd member of the Buckeyes top notch class.

Not just looking to sack quarterbacks in the Scarlet and Gray, it’s reported the Washington native plans to also suit up for Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes basketball squad when he arrives in Columbus fulltime.

A big time talent, recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman had the following to say on what he’ll bring to the college level.

“Powerful, athletic and nimble, with room to still add significant weight at the next level. Has lined up on the edge, mixing with hand down while also standing up. Elite pass rusher, who can mix a variety of moves with pure strength to shed his blockers. Can drop into coverage against running backs, receivers and tight ends and has the athleticism and ball skills to be a force in coverage. Has even played safety. Could be a top tight end prospect if he focused on offense, with natural pass-catching skills, ability to track the ball and high point it and run after the catch. Also a high-major basketball player, averaging nearly a double-double in prep career. As he continues to add weight and strength, figures to be among the elite pass-rushers at the next level. Projects as an instant impact Power 5-starter and a Top Ten overall draft pick.”

Antwi next?

The Buckeye bosses might not have to wait much longer to throw out more BOOOOOOOM’s up on up Twitter. Also planning to shut down his recruitment and announcing his pledge, four-star Georgia wide receiver Kojo Antwi will let the world know his college destination on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Considered the No. 16 wide out and 115th overall prospect in the class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite, Antwi will select from the likes of Ohio State, Georgia, Texas A&M, and USC.

A big time playmaker, the 6-foot, 190-pounder would fit in nicely with what the Buckeyes do. Showing his abilities time and time again he has accounted for nearly 1,500 total yards, and 15 touchdowns over the last two season at Lambert High.

Where will Kojo Antwi call home? We won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
