On this episode, Matt Tamanini is joined by LGHL recruiting analyst Caleb Houser to talk about Ohio State finally landing their first commit in the 2023 class in four-star tight end Ty Lockwood. Caleb breaks down the Tennessee pledge and how it could impact the OSU offensive scheme. They discuss how the evolution of the Buckeye offense has attracted top tight end talent.

They also discuss the Buckeyes’ quarterback recruiting. With Quinn Ewers reclassifying to the 2021 class, the QB recruiting timetable has been thrown off for the coming cycles. While it’s unclear whether or not OSU will pursue a quarterback in 2022 or 2023, Caleb is immensely impressed with 2024 prospect Jayden Davis, not only on the field but in his maturity level as well.
