Bucketheads Podcast: Recruiting updates and the Emoni Bates mystery

Land-Grant Holy Land’s newest podcast, ‘Bucketheads’ takes you on a journey across the college basketball landscape every episode. The only basketball-focused podcast in the LGHL family of podcasts, co-hosts Connor Lemons and Justin Golba give the latest scoop on the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as all the other happenings in the college hoops world. During the offseason the Bucketheads will release an episode once every two weeks, with the structure shifting to weekly as we get closer to college basketball season.

In Episode 7 of the Bucketheads podcast, Connor and Justin discuss the juiciest stories from around college basketball. They discuss Emoni Bates’ last second commitment to Memphis, just one day before their class registration deadline, and what his recruitment process could mean for other high schoolers like him.

They also briefly talk about Louisville head coach Chris Mack’s six-game suspension he was served last week, as well as an around-the-horn style update on Ohio State’s recruiting trail.

Finally, the fellas do a draft of current Big Ten coaches if they were to suit up for a five-on-five game today.
