When two programs such as Ohio State and Oregon hit the field against each other of course all eyes will be on the big time match-up. The Buckeyes and Ducks won’t just have fans sitting on the edge of their seats, a high number of top rated prospects will either be roaming the stadium on Saturday afternoon or watching on television.

With all the attention on the game, Land-Grant Holy Land caught up with a few of those aforementioned prospects to get their thoughts on the Bucks vs the Ducks:

4-star TE Bennett Christian

Class: 2022
Town: Acworth, GA/Allatoona
Size: 6’6/235
Status: Verbally committed to Ohio State

Thoughts: “I think the more physical team will win on both sides of the ball. Whoever can make stops on defense will determine the game.”

Prediction: “I think OSU gets the win at home with a score of 28-17.”

3-star DL Ben Roberts

Class: 2022
Town: Salt Lake City, UT/East
Size: 6’4/290
Status: Verbally committed to Oregon

Thoughts: “I can’t wait to see Oregon’s defensive line come across the line along with their linebackers. It will be dangerous.”

Prediction: “I think the game will be close. I can’t say the score but I have Oregon in this game.”

4-star OT Payton Kirkland

Class: 2023
Town: Orlando, FL/Dr. Phillips
Size: 6’5/330
Status: Uncommitted
Offers: Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, UCF, etc

Thoughts: “I’m excited to see how west coast ball matches up against midwest ball. I feel like Ohio State’s DB core needs to play a very solid game.”

Prediction: “I predict 48-24, Ohio State.”

4-star CB Jshawn Frausto-Ramos

Class: 2023
Town: Bellflower, CA/St. John Bosco
Size: 6’0/180
Status: Uncommitted
Offers: Ohio State, California, Colorado, Louisville, Michigan, USC, etc

Thoughts: “I’m just excited to see a good game. I’m also excited to see how the game is ran up close.”

Prediction: “I don’t have a final predication. It’s definitely going to be a good game but what I will say is whoever has the ball longer will win and who ever defense plays better will win.”

4-star CB Marcelles Williams

Class: 2024
Town: Bellflower, CA/St. John Bosco
Size: 5’11/170
Status: Uncommitted
Offers: Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan, Florida State, Boston College, USC, etc

Thoughts: “I’m excited to see the atmosphere. I’ve never been to college football games away from the west coast. I’m curious about the experience. I think Ohio State wide receivers need to dominate since its a young secondary for Oregon. They could take the pressure off of CJ Stroud. Oregon will need to dominate in the trenches and Kavon Thibodeaux will need to play really well.”

Prediction: “31-20, Ohio State”

4-star S R.J. Jones

Class: 2023
Town: Bellflower, CA/St. John Bosco
Size: 6’1/185
Status: Uncommitted
Offers: Oregon, Arizona State, California, Louisville, Minnesota, USC, etc

Thoughts: “I’m mostly looking forward to the energy of both teams. The fact I get to be there in person is great. Ohio State needs to stay humble and play their game. Oregon has to have a chip on their shoulder knowing a lot of people under dog them.”

Prediction: “My prediction will be 28-24, Ohio State.”
